Email rendering

PCs, tablets and smartphones vary wildly in their capabilities and screen size. Your supporters will also be using a variety of email clients. Are your templates responsive? Test them to make sure your emails render correctly across all clients and devices.

You could nail the copy and design the best looking emails in history. It may render beautifully on your shiny new 27” Mac but if it hasn’t been optimised, takes too long to load or can’t be read correctly (if at all) then what’s the point? Your emails will load and display differently in every email client and across your supporters’ different devices. They can’t read what they can’t see so bear this in mind when designing and building your templates.

Email rendering is important as depending on your target audience, up to 70% of email opens are on mobile devices. Make sure your templates are responsive and your hard work doesn’t go to waste!
